built in1791 against a breathtaking backdrop right next to the Bad Gastein waterfall, the former bathhouse on Straubingerplatz has always been a place where great personalities have come and gone. Following extensive restoration, 102 rooms and suites are now spread across the historic building and the modern new tower. The themed rooms reflect the various facets of bathing culture.

Depending on the location, the view from the rooms is either of wild nature or of the social center of Bad Gastein, the legendary Straubingerplatz.
